For HP 8922 H = (HP 8922 M. Opt 010), there are built-in testing facilities for the production and servicing of GSM and DCS-1800 wireless devices.

HP 8922 includes a complete set of measuring instruments for testing the high frequency parts of the GSM radio. In addition to the fast frequency 0,3 GMSK RF generator offers RF analyzer using agile oscillator, continuous data demodulator, Pulsdemodulator, FM demodulator, analyzer for phase and frequency of errors, synthesper, spectral analyzer (optional accessory), and Pulse - wattmeter.

HP 8922 H also has an error tester (BERT) for gsm receiver measurement, one Kanal-Codier-/Decodierbaustein for voice encoding and decoding, as well as Rufsteuerungsprotokoll to establish connections and maintain connections during measurement. Measuring in echo mode is due to its voice coding block decoding for the test mobilization function. To control mobile stations and support digital audio interface (DAI), the electrical interface (Emmi) has been implemented.

In addition to these specific GSM tools, HP 8922 meters includes common tasks that are suitable for the test, troubleshooting, and debugging module. The HP 83 220 E DCS/PCS test device extends the capabilities of the HP 8922 in the sense that the DCS 1800 and PCS 1900 units can be tested.

DCS 1800 mobile phones in the band between 1805 MHz and 1880 MHz and PCS mobile phones in the frequency range between 1930 MHz and 1990 MHz.

The HP 83 220 E, along with the HP 8922 H, is based on the DCS 1800/PCS 1900, and keep them upright. All necessary revisions and tests can now be done comprehensively, without losing the connection is interrupted.

HP 8922 H GSM Test Arrangement (HP 8922 M with opt 010) is an integrated test solution for the preparation and service of GSM and DCS-1800 radios. The HP 8922 H radio is a tool box with the necessary hardware to test the RF characteristics of GSM.

HP 8922 includes a complete set of equipment for testing rf parts of GSM radios. In addition to the overtuned 0.3 GMSK RF generator, the RF analyzer is an agile local oscillator, continuous data demodulator, pulse demodulator, FM demodulator, global method analyzer for phase and frequency of errors, synthetic spectral analyzer (optional accessory), and pulse meter.

8922 H adds a little-error-rate tester (BERT) to perform gsm receiver measurements, channel codec for encoding and decoding speech, and call control protocol to create a phone call and maintain a connection during the measurement. Echo mode is facilitated by the voice codec for functional testing of mobile and electrical interfaces human-machine (Emmi) is implemented to control and support the mobile digital digital audio interface (DAI).

In addition to this add-in of GSM-specific tools, HP 8922 includes universal tools suitable for module test, troubleshooting, and debugging activities. These tools include digital oscilloscope, CW RF frequency, CW RF wattmeter AC voltmeter, DC voltmeter, 1 kHz distortion/SINAD meter, audio frequency reader, and synthesized audio source. Combining these features, the HP 8922 is an extremely powerful tool for manufacturing and installing GSM radio equipment.

DCS 1800 mobile radios in the 1805 MHz band at 1880 MHz and PCS mobile radios in the 1930 MHz band at 1990 MHz.

HP E 83 220 When configured with HP 8922 H can create and maintain a DCS 1800/PCS link 1900. Once the connection has been established, complex trials are underway via the mobile DCS 1800/PCS 1900 band, without interruption, which they refer to.
