EB200 PERFORMS THE FOLLOWING TASKS:

Monitoring given frequencies, e.g. storage from 1 to 1000 frequencies, Squelch settings, constant monitoring of a single frequency or cycle scanning of several frequencies

Frequency range search with freely optional start and end frequencies and step widths of 1 kHz to 9,999 MHz

Short-range location to the mid-range destination with the help of handheld directional antenna HE200

Detection of undesirable emissions, including pulse d'i

Detection of unlicensed transmitters communicating illegally or jaozing transmission licenses.

Protection against eavesdropping detection of miniature transmitters (errors)

Monitoring your own radio exercises in the band's service

Track selected traffic

Remote control using modem and computer in coverage measurement and monitoring systems

The device driver allows Rohde & Schwarz EB200 Miniport receiver for use with RadioControl. VFO mode (i.e. "CW/fixed" mode), up and download memories and devices, internal scanning and search functions (M-SCAN and F-SCAN) are supported. Furthermore, in the development of device controls, it fully supports the parallel control feature EB200, which allows simultaneous control of radio equipment, e.g. the user via radio device on the front panel and RadioControl, or by more than one application. To achieve this, the device driver processes events sent by EB200 and passes the state and value changes to RadioControl, which can then respond accordingly. For example, when a user enters a new frequency or starts a scanner directly on a radio device, RadioControl responds immediately by displaying the newly specified frequency, or switching to shooting mode. So this feature not only allows simultaneous control of the same EB200 using RadioControl and the radio device on the front panel, but also the use of more than one application. For example, radiocontrol should be used for example for control and surveillance, tasks and special (possibly developed custom), software can be used for special tracking or measurement tasks and both are connected and managed by the same EB200 device. device drivers representing the most important features of device drivers will be listed in the following: 

Support for RS232 EB200 control interface in standard mode and PPP) and LAN for interface control.

The keyboard and/or display EB200 can be optionally locked/shut down if the radio device is controlled by RadioControl. Note: Locking the keyboard and turning off the display will speed up scanning and search actions. 

Full support for the current EB200 control. As mentioned above, the device driver supports scenarios under which the EB200 not only controlled RadioControl itself, but also the user and/or other applications at the same time, which opens up a range of application scenarios.
